About College
The College of Medicine was established at Dar Al Uloom University by Ministerial Decree No.114 645 dated 04/11/1434AH, as fulfillment of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the field of educational development and the training of professionals to provide high quality health services to the community. Establishment of the college followed an extensive process of reviewing the best existing medical programs and curricula at the global level.
The College stands out for its uncompromising focus on high-quality medical education and training using state of the art methods and technology.
College of Medicine accepted its first batch of students in 2013-2014.The first implemented curriculum was approved by MoH. However, the review visit from the Vice Ministry of Private University Education at Ministry of Education during the academic year 2015- 2016 recommended reforming curriculum according to the recent trends in medical education. Therefore, The College of Medicine at DAU sign Curriculum agreement with College of Medicine at King Saud University (KSU). College of Medicine at DAU identifies its graduate attributes and intended learning outcomes by adapting the SaudiMEDs framework. The SaudiMEDs specify the learning outcomes and enable competencies(graduate attributes) that are expected from all medical graduates in Saudi Arabia.The college of medicine graduated its first batch in 2019-2020 providing the health sector with a 55 competent physician with the target to graduate 200 physicians/year in the future.
