‘Student support’ honours ladies who supported students by giving remedial classes
The student support centre at the Deanship of Registration and Student Affairs, female section, organized a celebration last Wednesday, 11 October, a celebration to honour the female students who supported students by giving remedial classes last semester. This celebration was attended by a number of faculty members, a number of female students, and mothers of the female students who gave the classes.
Dr Nouf Al-Ajmi, University Vice Dean of Academic Affairs and supervisor of the female section, gave words of thanks and handed the aforementioned female students certificates of gratitude and respect, and a token gift. Dr Al-Ajmi also presented certificates of gratitude and respect to the female employees of the Student Support Centre, and thanked them for their efforts in making the programme successful.
Al-Ajmi praised the remedial classes programme and its perceptible effect in improving academic level for the female students enrolled onto the programme. The Vice Dean officially opened the enrollment into the remedial classes programme in both male and female sections for the current semester.
From her side, Dr Maha Al-Kallab, General Supervisor for the Student Services Centre, thanked the female student participants who gave remedial classes: Farah Al-Sibaai, Ismat Al-Sarhan, Shaymaa Abu Diyah, Norah Al-Raqtan, and Sarah Al-Ghamdi. Dr Al-Kallab welcomed the attendees and gave thanks to the mothers of the female students, members of the University Preparatory Program, and University leadership in the female section for their continuous support of the remedial classes programme.
