Student Council holds an awareness campaign on prostate cancer
The Student Council of the College of Medicine at Dar Al Uloom University, sponsored by the Enaya Health Association, held an awareness campaign on prostate cancer at the River Walk Complex in Riyadh.
Preparations for the event began under the supervision of Dr. Nahla Ramadan Noufal, Assistant Professor of Pathology, and Dr. Sally Rashad, Lecturer of Pathology at the College, and led by student Hussein Abdullah Al-Qahtani, with the participation of a group of male and female students from the Student Council.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness in the community about prostate cancer in men as one of the most common types of cancer in the world, and to increase awareness of its causes and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. The campaign also aims to clarify the risks and complications of the disease.
The Student Council was also keen in this campaign to educate the community about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and its impact on preventing diseases, including cancer.
