Interior Design in Educational Visit for Commercial Store Design
In an effort to enhance students’ learning outcomes of the Commercial Establishments course, and in order to link theory with practice in the Saudi labor market, female students at the Interior Design Department carried out a field trip to the Nakheel Mall commercial complex, which reflects the keenness of the Interior Design Department of the College of Architecture & Digital Design to provide students with hands-on field experiences through onsite visits to work sites and implementation environments,
The visit has enabled the students to gain an on-hands experience with the most modern methods in designing commercial stores and how to use different materials, colors and designs for different styles, thus fulfilling a learning outcome that is linked to the requirements of the Saudi labor market.
