Healthy lungs: from kids to adult
The Respiratory Therapy Department at the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences organized an awareness event titled “Healthy Lungs: From kids to Adult” on Saturday 25th April, at The Zone complex. The event featured the active participation of students, who organized several educational and interactive booths. The booths included an interactive awareness corner, a neonatal care section highlighting the risks of premature birth, an educational booth on childhood asthma covering prevention methods and proper medication use, a lung health awareness section, and a booth introducing early warning signs of potential health conditions such as strokes and sleep apnea. In addition, participants were introduced to various available health applications designed to support public health awareness. The event achieved remarkable success, with students engaging effectively with mall visitors and responding to their inquiries regarding the topics presented.
