Fay Binders, COB Student, Received the Best Scientific Research Award from Peace Project for Cultural Communication
The student, Fay Mohammed Bindrees, participated among selected participants in a program to empower youth leaders at Salam program for cultural communication in its fifth edition, affiliated with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue. Salam program is a national project established by the Saudi Council of Ministers on October 26, 2015. It aims to spread the message of cultural peace and connection, build bridges of communication between diverse communities and cultures, and enhance the positive image of Saudi Arabia and its position internationally.
Salam has many programs and initiatives through which it works to achieve its goal, in addition to building and developing national capacities through a series of modernization and development, educational and
orientation programs. The program includes many workshops, meetings, and assignments, in addition to the final research project. All of this by going through 4 main stages, which are foundation and construction, depth in issues, linkage to the goals of sustainable development, and international influence.
Also, with the help of the team, Fay was able to conduct scientific research on the Kingdom’s efforts in maintaining a balance in environmental sustainability, and climate change. This included using scientific research methods and meeting many specialists and scientists in this field, and it enlightened the great efforts made by the Kingdom to achieve this global goal and exceeding excellence in the field of environmental sustainability emerged. The scientific research won the best scientific research award.
The program also included meetings with many national leaders in various fields, inspiring and distinguished personalities on the Kingdom’s level and also globally, including a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, a meeting with Her Excellency Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, Her Excellency Professor Enas Al-Shahwan, and Her Excellency Dr. Thoraya Obaid, and a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Mufleh Al-Qahtani Dean of College of Law at Dar Al Uloom University and a number of people with a huge positive impact on the world.
