As part of DAU’s Directorate of Quality’s Professional Development Training Program, which aims at raising the efficiency of faculty members, the Quality Culture Unit has organized a series of workshops on statistical analysis, presented by Dr. Mona Al-Wakeel, a faculty member at the College of Business Administration. Dr Al Wakil presented four consecutive specialized workshops on the use of SPSS program for statistical analysis, representing the different levels of statistical analysis. The first workshop focused on basic terminology and ways of entering and coding data; the second workshop discussed statistical data analysis using tables and graphs, while the third workshop focused on various statistical analysis methods and how to select the appropriate testing, both parametric or non-parametric, to answer research questions. The third workshop also provided insights into how to avoid common errors when applying tests, and how to write the final statistical reports for research projects and papers..
