Dr. Hussein Ahmed Mohammed Al Ghashami
Summary of his biography :
I am currently teaching at College of Law at Dar Aluloom Univerisity in Saudi Arabia and I am a member of a research program studying the operation of an informal system of justice and law enforcement in the Republic of Yemen. I am constantly updating my knowledge and understanding of law and relish opportunities for extensive study and research in this area.
In addition to my role above, I am Secretary General of Rafed Corporation for training and development. The corporation offers free training courses to the community. These help to develop opportunities for people to seek emplyment or start small businesses for example, accounting and beauty therapy.
I have experience as a lecturer, teaching Law at the Future University in Yemen, which helped develop my teaching skills and expertise. Working with adults provides a great stimulus for discussion and focused research to ‘push the boundaries’ and challenge different theories and opinions of accomplished scholars.
Whilst working as a legal consultant with Allaow Legal Firm, I experienced first-hand the judicial system in Yemen and supported lawyers on various cases, gaining an insight into court operations and procedures. I have been able to research the litigation process and how this works in practice.
In my position as a legal consultant for the Yemeni Radio and Television, I developed my communication and negotiation skills and learned how to work with and respond to various groups, successfully representing the Ministry of Media and Information.
