Decision support Unit

Decision Support Unit Mission:

Collecting, preparing, and analyzing data and statistics to support university decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring the implementation of decisions made by all councils and standing committees in the university and preparing the necessary reports.
  2. Developing data collection and analysis tools and categorizing them according to university sectors.
  3. Standardizing data sources to ensure their quality and reliability to support the decision-making process.
  4. Developing statistical, predictive, and business intelligence tools to support decision-makers in finding solutions and alternatives.
  5. Providing visual representation of information to decision-makers as a quick and easy way to view the university’s performance.
  6. Developing the necessary academic analyses based on the university’s performance indicators, relevant authorities, and benchmarking with other universities to contribute in setting development and improvement plans.
  7. Monitoring the implementation of improvement plans submitted by all units within the university.
  8. Studying the impact of decisions has been taken on DAU’s performance.
  9. Working on issuing regular and annual statistical reports for the university.
  10. Communicating with ministries, governmental entities, and providing them with the required data related to the unit’s specialization.
