Through programs that encourage faculty and students to publish in classified scientific journals, the General Directorate of Scientific research (GDSRI) promotes and supports scientific research at the university. Students and faculty are encouraged to adopt innovative approaches through our Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (CEIKT). We also provide consulting and research services for both the private and public sectors through CEIKT. Moreover, the Center for Learning Resources and Libraries (CLR&L) creates learning resources, promotes e-learning culture at the university, and provides diverse, advanced learning and information sources that meet the needs of beneficiaries to create an environment conducive to effective and creative e-learning.

GDSRI tasks are integral to fulfilling the university’s three primary roles: education, science research, and community engagement. Our goal is to contribute to the development of our university as an innovative research institution by creating a conducive research environment to inspire and encourage faculty and students to conduct innovative research, by providing financial and technical assistance to research projects, and by overcoming all barriers to scientific research advancement at the university.
