On Monday, 18^th. March, Dar Al Uloum University signed a partnership agreement with the Liverpool John Moores University to launch the Bachelor of Nursing Program at the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences, with the aim of supporting and nationalizing the nursing profession.

The signing ceremony was attended by HE Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al Tuwaijri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, HE Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al Hamoudi, DAU Rector, Prof. Fahd Bin Abdullah Al Zamil, Vice-Rector for Health Specialties, Dr. Sami Al Nassar, acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences, and Dr Hadeel Al Rawaf, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy & applied Medical sciences.

The University of Dar Al Uloom was represented by Prof. Al Zamel, whereas the Liverpool John Moores University was represented by Dr Sean Mackay, Director of Global Partnerships. The agreement states that the University of Liverpool John Morse offer academic curricula and advisory services to support the Bachelor of Nursing program.

The signing of this agreement stems from DAU’s keenness to support and nationalize the nursing profession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, given the urgent need for the national workforce in the nursing field. It also reflects the university’s high interest in providing the best academic programs for its students in line with the goals of the aspiring 2030 Vision in the educational field.
