Learning Outcomes

  • Communication Proficiency

The suite of English courses available is designed to provide students with a good working command of all four language skills, namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students are encouraged to communicate among themselves in English while on-campus. Signs and instructions are all in English to encourage and promote use of the language.

  • Mathematical Competence

The mathematical contents of the program will prepare the student to be well-versed in the mathematical tools needed for his/her chosen discipline of study as well as for life.

  • Use of Computers

The students will be well-versed in the use of basic computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and e-mail, as well as the foundation skills necessary to use search engines confidently for locating information on the Web. Students will also learn how to assess and reference for study purposes all information which they have found.

  • Languages and Islamic Studies

The courses in this category allow students to develop their understanding of the Arabic language and Islamic values. Students will cover broader perspectives of Islamic Doctrine (Fiqh) and Arabic language reading and writing.`

  • Practice of Learning and Self-management Skills
