“Human Medicine” organizes a lecture entitled “Simulation in surgical training: welfare or necessity”

On Wednesday, October 26, the Faculty of Human Medicine Faculty Development Unit at the University of Dar Al Uloom organized a lecture entitled “Simulation in surgical training: welfare or necessity”.

Prof. Evangelos Giorgio, founder and director of the Simulation Center at the University of Athens, attended the lecture, which was attended by Professor Fahd Al-Zamil, Vice-Dean for Health Specialties, and Dr. Sami Al-Nassar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

Professor Giorgio talked about the importance of the role of simulation in surgical training and the theoretical and practical aspects of the students. He also reviewed the tremendous scientific development in simulation mechanisms in surgical training.
