DAU’s Medicine Obtains Full Accreditation by Education & Training Evaluation Commission
As part of Dar Al Uloom University’s continuing efforts to improve its various academic programs and ensure that the highest local and international quality standards are applied, the Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery Program at the College of Medicine has obtained full program accreditation by the Education & Training Evaluation Commission represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation. It should also be noted that the program is already fully recognized by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), thus contributing to improving opportunities of enrollment in its training and graduate studies programs and enhancing graduates’ global employability. The current program’s achievement is reflects both quality and efficiency and is considered among the most important accreditations that contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in improving the quality of education, developing the educational process, and achieving the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Juma’, Dean of the College, has extended his appreciation and thanks to leaders of the university, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Tuwaijri, Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hamoudi, and the university’s Chief Executive Officer , Mr. Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, for the great support they have provided to the College of Medicine in its endeavor to obtain this accreditation. Professor Al-Juma’ extended thanks to all faculty at the college, especially the self-study committee headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Majeed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Drees, college Vice-Dean, for their endeavor that has facilitated the completion of the task and helped the college obtain full accreditation, asking God the Almighty to continue DAU’s achievements at all levels and in all fields and specializations
