Stemming from the belief in the importance of spreading knowledge and activating the role of Dar Al Uloom University and its College of Medicine in raising awareness of the dangers of cholesterol, students of the External Activities Committee organized a campaign entitled Awareness of Cholesterol Risks to tackle the dangers of cholesterol. The campaign was supervised Dr. Bandar Al-Jifn, Head of the Medical Education Department at the College of Medicine.
The awareness campaign was held in Al Faisaliah Tower on October 6, 2022, where students of the College of Medicine took the initiative to educate visitors about the dangers of cholesterol. The event covered several themes, including an overview of the topic of cholesterol, diseases caused by cholesterol, cholesterol and mental health, and cholesterol prevention.
The campaign received a large turnout from visitors at Al-Faisaliah, who showed passion for obtaining information about preventive and curative measures, and receiving tips and instructions from DAU’s medical students who contributed to raising the community’s awareness of a healthy society that can contribute to achieving Kingdom’s Vision.
