College of Business Administration Participates in the International Anti-Corruption Day

Dr. Zahra Abdullah Al-Nasser, Assistant Professor in the Accounting Department at the College of Business Administration, participated as a guest speaker in the Sixth Annual Forum, that was held on Tuesday 27/12/2022, to celebrate the International Anti-Corruption Day, under the theme (Promoting Integrity is National Priority). The session intitled (The role of governance, risk, and commitment in protecting public money). Dr. Zahra spoke about the concept of Governance in the administrative field, the reality of applying governance, risks, and compliance in the public sector, and how this framework works to protect public money. Dr. Zahra also indicated the administrative methods that organizations can employ to increase the awareness of the governance framework, associated risks, and the role of commitment to enhance the anti-corruption process. Dr. Zahra concluded with her participation by talking about the most important challenges and risks facing public sector in implementing the governance, and the best strategies to respond to such situations.
