With a special ‘thank you’ to all our students and our dedicated staff, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the DAU University Preparatory Program. I hope you will take a moment to read through our mission statement, program values and objectives. We strive to provide services and courses that will aid in preparing our students for the subsequent stages of their university life.

The UPP is proud of its longstanding services to the university, since it provides students with a broad understanding of higher education and of the most successful practices of effective learning. Through coursework and learning assistantship of their well-qualified and hard-working teachers, students develop the skills they need to deal with a more specialized material in their fields of study. The courses we offer at the UPP are intended to set the pace for equipping students with the critical, analytic and practice skills they need to succeed in their higher studies and day-to-day life.

As the Director of the UPP, it is an honor for me to work with a distinguished staff of professors, lecturers, instructors and administrators. We, as a dedicated team, proactively address issues and look for hands-on approaches to meeting the needs of our students and staff.
