The Finance club students, accompanied by Professor Abderrazek El-Khaldi, Head of the Department, and faculty members Dr. Nahla Al-Nasser and Dr. Ahlam Al-Najeh, have conducted a field visit to Jadwa Investment as part of the extracurricular activities aiming at linking theoretical learning with practical application and introducing students to the working environment of the investment and asset-management sector.

The company’s staff welcomed the department’s delegation and delivered an introductory presentation on Jadwa Investment’s activities and its services in the fields of asset management and investment in equities and real estate, in addition to its investment strategies in line with global best practices. The students also learned about the working mechanisms of the financial analysis and investment research teams, as well as the role of risk management and governance in making investment decisions.

The visit witnessed notable interaction from the students, who actively posed questions and engaged in discussions with specialists about career paths in the investment sector and the skills graduates need in the labor market. Mr. Badr Al-Omar, member of the Shariah Board and Head of Shariah Compliance, renewed his welcome to the delegation and urged the students to further prepare for their professional lives and to catch the opportunity of the university experience, highlighting the importance of obtaining professional certifications in their field of specialization.

For his part, Dr. Ghanem Al-Ghanem, Head of Investment Advisory, gave a detailed presentation on the company’s activities and investment domains. At the end of the visit, the Head of the Finance Department presented a commemorative shield to Jadwa Investment’s management and reiterated his thanks for their warm reception, confirming that such visits contribute to refining students’ skills and enhancing their professional readiness. He also invited Jadwa Investment’s staff to visit Dar Al Uloom University and the Department of Finance and Banking and to explore possible avenues of cooperation between the two institutions.
