His Excellency the University President, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, presided over the orientation program for new students on Tuesday, September 2. The event aimed to welcome incoming students and familiarize them with the university’s systems, regulations, and facilities. The session was attended by new students, college deans, and faculty members.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Al-Hamoudi welcomed the attendees and provided an overview of the university’s academic programs and international accreditations. He emphasized the university’s commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that supports student success and excellence.

The program featured a presentation by Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, UPP Manager, who introduced students to university life and offered guidance on adapting to the academic environment. He stressed the importance of avoiding academic violations and highlighted the university’s Skills Record initiative.

A panel discussion followed, with the participation of college deans, who shared key advice on achieving academic success. They underscored the importance of personal commitment, adherence to the study plan, regular attendance, and building a positive relationship with academic advisors. The session concluded with an open Q&A, during which students’ inquiries were addressed, and their enthusiasm for attending such events was commended.

In parallel, a dedicated orientation session for female students was held under the patronage of Her Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Huda Mohammed Al-Ameel, with the attendance of female deans, vice deans, and faculty members. The

session introduced university life and offered essential guidance for academic excellence and distinction.
