The College of Business Administration Participates in the Global Internet of Things Conference (GIoTC 2025)
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 2025: The capital city of Riyadh hosted the Global Internet of Things Conference (GIoTC 2025), organized by the Saudi Internet of Things Association (IoTA), from October 21 to 23, 2025, at The Arena Exhibition Hall. The event positioned Riyadh as a leading regional hub for emerging technologies in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector and stands as the largest conference of its kind in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East and North Africa.
The conference brought together a distinguished lineup of leaders, innovators, and experts to discuss the future of smart connectivity and digital transformation technologies.
Dar Al Uloom University participated in the conference upon an official invitation from the Saudi Internet of Things Association (IoTA). The university was represented by Dr. Ayad Aldaijy, an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the College of Business Administration, who served as a speaker in a panel discussion titled “Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Applications.”
During the session, participants explored several key topics, including the role of IoT in driving the industrial revolution, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity, applications in automation and predictive maintenance, smart asset management, and the integration of IoT with artificial intelligence and big data analytics to support strategic decision-making.
The session concluded with the presentation of real-world industrial case studies demonstrating successful IoT implementations and their impact on industrial innovation and performance.
