Student Support Centre Honors Students Participating in Reinforcement Classes
The Student Support Center at the Deanship of Admissions, Registration & Student Affairs at the University of Dar Al Uloom held a ceremony to honor the students who participated in giving reinforcement classes. The ceremony was held in the presence of Dr Maha Al-Kallab, the Centre’s supervisor, and Dr Abdulateef Al-Mehmes, Head of the Department of Humanities.
Dr. Kalab stressed the importance of students’ reinforcement classes and their impact on helping weak students improve their academic level in a number of courses, especially English and mathematics . She thanked the Deanship of Admissions, Registration, & Student Affairs, the University Preparatory Program and university administration for their continued support.
The participants discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the reinforcement lessons for the past year and highlighted the difficulties and obstacles faced by the students participating in giving the lessons. They also put forward suggestions for improvement and development, and for raising the level of performance and attendance for the next academic year.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Kalab honored the staff at Student Support Center, and Dr. Abdulateef presented participating students with certificates of thanks and appreciation. Dr Kallab also thanked the male students who volunteered in giving reinforcement lessons and who contributed to making these lessons a success for the first year on the male campus.
