Nursing Students Organize Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at Dar Al Uloom Schools
Female students from the Nursing Department at the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences, Dar Al Uloom University, organized an awareness event titled “Because We Care” at Dar Al Uloom International Schools – Secondary Section (Girls), with the participation of over 30 students.
The event aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer, which ranks as the second most common cancer worldwide, by highlighting risk factors, the importance of early detection, and preventive measures.
The program included an educational session on self-examination techniques, practical activities demonstrating self and clinical checks, and the distribution of informative brochures on breast cancer, screening methods, and prevention strategies, promoting early detection awareness among students.
This initiative reflects Dar Al Uloom University’s commitment to community health and spreading awareness of critical health issues.
