Nursing Students Celebrate Universal Children’s Day with Pediatric Patients at King Fahad Medical City
As part of the humanitarian and social initiatives of the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences at Dar Al Uloom University, and in collaboration with King Fahad Medical City, the Nursing Department organized a special event to mark Universal Children’s Day, dedicated to children battling cancer.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to support vulnerable groups. The event aimed to bring joy and happiness to the lives of sick children and alleviate their suffering through a variety of engaging and interactive activities.
The program featured fun-filled activities such as group games, art and coloring workshops, and gift distribution, along with entertainment segments designed to foster positivity and hope among the children. More than 60 children attended the event, accompanied by their families, who expressed great appreciation for the initiative’s impact.
Organizers emphasized that this activity is part of an ongoing series of programs by the Nursing Department to support pediatric patients and promote their psychological and social well-being, in line with the university’s vision of serving the community and enhancing quality of life.
