Interior Design Females Visit Riyadh University Hospital
With the aim of linking courses learning outcomes to the labor market, a number of female students of the Health Care course at the Department of Interior Design at the College of Architecture & Digital Design have been in a visit to Al-Riyadh University Hospital, accompanied by Dr. Mona Farid and Dr. Marwa Ezzat. The visit is of great significance to students in that it will reflect on the quality of their works submitted a part of the Health Care (IDE 401) course, and will prepare them for their graduation project next semester.
The students were received at the hospital by project supervisor, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Taimi, who accompanied them in a tour of the hospital’s facilities, including the main reception hall, outpatient pharmacy and clinics, various inpatient sections, including rooms, wings and VIP wings, operating rooms, Emergency and X-Ray departments, Intensive Care Unit and isolation rooms . During the tour students were briefed about the requirements of the Saudi Authority for Hospital Accreditation (CBAHI).
The visit has had a great impact on the students’ filed experience related to course theoretical content, which would raise the quality of submitted works, in line with the requirements of the quality assurance of learning.
