As part of their commitment to promoting health awareness, female students at Dar Al Uloom University organized an awareness campaign in recognition of Pink October, the month dedicated to breast cancer awareness, under the slogan “Let Us All Be One Voice.” The event took place in the female campus lobby.

The campaign was attended by Dr. Huda Al-Omaile, Vice President of the University, and Dr. Dareen Al-Asmari, Vice Dean of the College of Law (Female Section), along with faculty members, administrative staff, and students from various colleges.

The program included an overview of breast cancer, its symptoms, and the risk factors associated with the disease. It also highlighted diagnostic methods, prevention strategies, and emphasized the importance of regular self-examination for early detection. Additionally, the campaign addressed possible complications and available treatment options, and a Q&A session was held to answer inquiries related to breast cancer awareness.

The event was organized under the supervision of the College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Legal Club of the College of Law and the Rufaida Women’s Health Association, which introduced its various services aimed at promoting women’s health.

In conclusion, the students urged everyone to become ambassadors for breast cancer awareness, stressing that an informed word can save a life and that early detection makes a significant difference.
