College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences Organizes a Workshop on Problem-Based Learning (PBL)

On Tuesday, the College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences organized a specialized workshop entitled “Problem-Based Learning (PBL)” as part of its commitment to advancing modern teaching methods and enhancing the quality of academic outcomes. The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Samira Al-Sanani, and was attended by several faculty members in addition to visitors from the Second Health Cluster,who praised the importance of the topic and its contribution to strengthening the integration between academic education and professional practice. The workshop was delivered by Ms. Shahad Bashanini, who presented the key concepts ofproblem-based learning, the factors influencing its successful implementation in the educational environment, and its role in developing students’ critical thinking and teamwork skills. This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the College to advance the educational process and keep pace with the latest global practices in health education.
