College of Medicine Hosts Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Course

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of healthcare professionals, the Life Support Courses Center – accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) at the College of Medicine organized the Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Course on Monday, January 19, 2026, held at the center’s headquarters AT Dar AlUloom University.

The course was attended by trainees from Riyadh Hospital, the Specialized Medical Hospital, and the Mahayel Asir region. It aimed to empower healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to train others in Basic Life Support, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), in accordance with the latest internationally recognized standards.

The course was delivered by Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Talha and Dr. Ayat Jihad and was organized by Dr. Ayat Jihad in her capacity as International Coordinator of the Life Support Courses Center.

This course is part of internationally accredited training programs by the American Heart Association (AHA), reflecting the College of Medicine’s commitment to professional development and improving medical preparedness within the healthcare sector.
