College of Business Enhances Its Community Partnership with a Visit to Bilingual Learning Schools

As part of strengthening community collaboration between general and higher education institutions, the female faculty members of the College of Business visited Bilingual Learning Schools on Thursday, 13 November 2025. During the visit, Dr. Areej AlOsaimi, Ms. Ashwaq AlJuraysi, and Dr. Nashwa Salem delivered a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship” for high school students. The workshop was coordinated by the College’s coordinator, Ms. Deena Al-Manea, who supervised its organization and ensured the achievement of its objectives.

The workshop began with an opening speech by Dr. Areej AlOsaimi, who presented an overview of Dar Al-Uloom University and the College of Business Administration. This was followed by a comprehensive introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship and how ideas can be transformed into successful projects, highlighting the key skills and foundational principles required to build innovative and sustainable ventures.

Dr. Nashwa Salem also led a series of interactive activities in which the students participated, aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial thinking and fostering a spirit of initiative. Meanwhile, Ms. Ashwaq AlJuraysi enriched the session with engaging discussions and inspiring real-life examples.

The workshop concluded with enthusiastic participation from the students, who expressed their appreciation and affirmed that such workshops contribute to broadening their horizons and empowering them to discover their capabilities in the field of entrepreneurship.

This visit comes as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to support knowledge and provide qualitative programs that inspire today’s students to become the entrepreneurs of the future.
