College of Business Administration organized a dialogue session entitled “Navigating Entrepreneurship

The Community Partnership and Business Sector Linkage Committee in the Accounting Department organized a dialogue session entitled Navigating Entrepreneurship within the “Financial Awareness and Planning” program, presented by His Excellency Mr. Jassim Haroun Al Haroun, a financial specialist and strategic planner who has practical experience extending for more than 18 years in the public and private sectors, and is an evaluator of economic facilities and an examiner. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a specialist in big data science. Also, he is the author of two books, one about studying at university and the other about establishing companies. He has published more than 100 articles on entrepreneurship, evaluation, and financial analyses. The dialogue included several vital topics, including the determinants of the idea of a pioneering and innovative project, and the goal of the project (The added value, the levels of market size and target share, the needs of the market and the timetable for preparing the idea, launching it, achieving sales, then reaching the break-even point and achieving profits, the need for financing, and the methods available to obtain appropriate financing), then the guest discussed the stage of building the idea through the initial model and the founding team, Partners, first customers, strategic plan and operational plan. At the end of the meeting, the attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions, after which the Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Amor Ayed, and Dr. Abdulrahman Alhassun, Chairman of

the Community Partnership Committee, thanked and honored the guest for his great insights and effective contribution during the session.
