Clinical Skills and Simulation Center Organizes “Your Health” Campaign at Najd Schools
As part of its commitment to community service and health awareness, the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center at the College of Medicine, Dar Al Uloom University, in collaboration with Riyadh Hospital, organized a health awareness campaign titled “Your Health” at Najd Schools. The campaign aimed to promote health awareness among students and featured several health screening stations, including measurement of vital signs such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and heart rate, as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation. It also included first aid education with hands-on training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and chest compressions. Additionally, a dedicated breast cancer awareness booth was presented, featuring an educational lecture by Dr. Fatimah Al-Shanqeeti, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riyadh Hospital, focusing on early detection, risk factors, and prevention methods.
