Postgraduate programs: admission requirements for the College of Business Administration

An applicant should:

1- have a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of not less than Very Good (B) from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education. The Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies & Research can waive this condition for high Good (C +), provided that the GPA in specialization courses is Very Good (B). The Council may also accept admission of those with a Good GPA (C), as per recommendation of the Department Council and the support of the College Council, provided that the undergraduate major GPA is not less than Very Good (B) in specialization courses.

2- submit certified copies of the university degree and transcript

3- provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught him/her.

4- obtain the approval of the employer to study, if the applicant is an employee

5- have a satisfactory grade in the undergraduate proficiency tests conducted by the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) or in the equivalent tests GMAT or GRE.

6- For those who apply for the English track of the postgraduate studies programs, they must obtain a score of not less than 80 in the language proficiency test, which is administered by Qiyas or the equivalent IELTS or TOEFL tests.

7- pass the personal interview conducted by the Graduate Studies Admission Committee, with preference given to those with practical experience.

8- If the applicant is not accepted directly into the graduate studies program and is transferred to the complementary program, he/she must pass all courses with a GPA not less than Very Good.

9- fulfill all the requirements mentioned in the unified regulations for postgraduate studies in Saudi universities or those proposed by the College of Business Administration Council and approved by the University Council.
