BMG Community Service launches its competition for students of Dar Al Uloom University
The University of Dar Al Uloum, represented by the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education hosted BMG Community Services on Sunday (December 3rd) at the university theater to introduce students and university employees to its competition in the field of community service.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Azzman, Dean of Student Affairs, Admission and Registration, a number of faculty members and a group of students. Dr. Nasser Al-Anzi, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, delivered a speech on behalf of Dr. Khaled Al-Shuwaikh, Dean of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education.
The founder of BMG, Bassel Al-Ghalayini, welcomed the attendees and talked about the company’s emergence. He explained that the competition is being held for the fourth year in a row, a competition taking place in the universities of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE.
The director of community programs at BMG, Ms. Wedad Baroudi, announced the details of the competition, which is divided into three branches; the first section is the production of the best awareness announcement, the second is for the best awareness video, and finally the best invention idea.
Baroudi explained that the competition for the three branches is aimed at three initiatives: our water, our life, our health, and safe driving. Prizes for the winners will be awarded a Master scholarship for the best three awareness videos, a Mac Laptop for the top three awareness announcements, and an international trip for the top three inventions.
