Dr. Mustafa Ramadan, assistant professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering at The College of Architectural Engineering and Digital Design in Dar AlUloom University, participated in the 9th Annual Conference on Architectural Engineering in Athens.

Dr. Ramadan published a research paper on the relationship between cultural & social factors and the aesthetic judgement in evaluating the quality of architectural work, which raises questions pertaining the incorporation of social and cultural factors in buildings design.

The study aims to highlight and explore the importance of taking social and aesthetic factors into consideration when evaluating building design, measuring users and professionals satisfaction and assessing buildings attainment of expected qualities and functions.

It is worth mentioning that the Annual Conference on Architectural Engineering in Athens is organized by the Architectural Engineering Research and Studies Institution. It examines the study of buildings and building designs, the history of architecture and building environment, architectural theories, the evolution of construction work, urban planning and other related arenas.
