Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Private Higher Education Visits DAU
A delegation from the Ministry of Education for Private High Education headed by Dr Reema Al Yahya visited Dar Al Uloom University. The delegation was received by the Rector of the university
Prof. Khalid Al-Hamoudi, Vice Rector for Health Specialties Prof Fahad AlZamil, and Vice Deaf for academic and Educational Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz AlOthman, Deans and Vice Deans.
The delegation’s tour of the university started at the university’s cultural center, where the guest was briefed on the University, its colleges and strategic partnerships, as well as the Riyadh University Hospital project.
Dr. Al-Yahya also visited the moot court at the College of Law, whose dean, Dr. Mufleh Al-Qahtani, stressed that the new plan of the College of Law relies heavily on training and practical application of what the student has learned in the classroom.
Dr. Sami Al-Nassar, Dean of the College of Medicine then offered a review of the laboratories of the College and the Center for Medical Skills and Simulation, noting that the College adopts the highest local and international standards in medical education.
In his turn, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ghunaimi, Vice-Dean of the College of Architecture and Digital Design, added that the college was awarded the NAB accreditation, which came as a culmination of the university’s efforts in adopting the highest quality standards. Dr Al Yahya expressed her admiration of the college’s premises and students’ projects.
Dr. Hisham Al-Moallem, Dean of the College of Dentistry, stressed the college’s keenness on acquiring the latest technologies and devices in the field of dentistry in addition to attracting distinguished faculty. He expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the university administration and the Board of Trustees.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency Prof. Al-Hamoudi, Rector of the University, thanked the delegation and expressed his appreciation for the support that the Higher Education Agency provides to private universities. Dr. Al-Yahya thanked the administration of Dar Al Uloom University for its fine reception, expressing admiration of the performance of Dar Al Uloom University and stressing the agency’s efforts in the interest of private universities.
