Scientific Research – Ethics & Innovation
The Scientific Research, Research Ethics, and Innovation Committee at the College of Dentistry is responsible for organizing, supporting, and monitoring research and innovation activities within the college. It ensures that all research complies with approved scientific and ethical standards. The committee reviews and approves research proposals, particularly those involving human participants, data, or biological samples, to ensure the safety of participants and the quality of research.

- Conducting periodic evaluation and oversight of research submitted by faculty members and affiliates of the College of Dentistry.
- Recommending research projects supported by Dar Al Uloom University and submitting them to the Office of the Vice Dean of the College.
- Encouraging scientific innovation and ideas related to the field of dentistry.
- Ensuring compliance with bioethical and medical ethics standards in research submitted by the college.
- Raising awareness of bioethical and medical research ethics among individuals working in the research field.
- Organizing events related to scientific research and its ethics through seminars, panel discussions, and lectures.
- Preparing an annual report on achievements in scientific research and innovation within the college and submitting it to the Vice Dean of the College.
- Submitting the minutes of periodic meetings—no fewer than two meetings per semester—to the Office of the Vice Dean of the College.
