Department of Human Resource Management, one of four academic departments at College of Business Administration (COB), is dedicated to providing high quality educational programs, applied research, service to community. The Human Resource Management Management Program (HRM) offered by the Department of Human Resource Management is designed to provide students with broad theoretical knowledge of human resource management. HRM in an organization is vital to its success, by managing human capital in an efficient and effective manner many of the organization’s strategic objective can be achieved. HRM program students are exposed to many functions and activities related to human capital management in an organization including human resource planning, recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance measurement, risk management and worker protection, Labor law, and continuous quality improvement processes. In addition, students equipped with valuable skills of critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork in addition to knowledge of HRM necessary to perform effectively in a variety of careers in the field of human resource management.
