Students are encouraged to communicate among themselves in English while on-campus. Signs and instructions are all in English to encourage and promote use of the language.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>Mathematical Competence<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">The mathematical contents of the program will prepare the student to be well-versed in the mathematical tools needed for his\/her chosen discipline of study as well as for life.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>Use of Computers<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">The students will be well-versed in the use of basic computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and e-mail, as well as the foundation skills necessary to use search engines confidently for locating information on the Web. Students will also learn how to assess and reference for study purposes all information which they have found.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Languages and Islamic Studies<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">The courses in this category allow students to develop their understanding of the Arabic language and Islamic values.
