If a student objects to this, it will be considered as a violation of examination rules and regulations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are not allowed to take the exam if they arrive half an hour (30 minutes) after the Exam Start Time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are not allowed to leave the exam room before the end of half of the exam time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No students are allowed to enter the exam after submitting their exams and leaving the exam room.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must write their names and ID numbers as shown on their DAU Student ID Cards.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are not allowed to borrow any stationery (pens, calculator, sheet of paper, etc.) from other students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are not allowed to exchange their exam papers for any reason at all.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are not allowed to mark\/write\/draw any signs or symbols on their exam papers and\/or furniture.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must use Blue Ink Pens to write their answers.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students\u2019 personal possessions are their own responsibility. University staff will not be held liable for the loss of students\u2019 person belongings.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bringing drinks and\/or food to the exam hall is strictly prohibited. Examinees are allowed to bring water.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Class Attendance Policy<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attending classes on-time and for the full period of the class is compulsory. A student is marked present if she\/he enters the class within first 15 minutes. If a student comes after first 15 minutes, she\/he is marked late. However, a student who misses a class or part of it for a valid reason which is accepted by the Department of Student Affairs will be excused. However, the University Council has a right to decide the minimum attendance percentage required to take the final exam.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plagiarism Warning<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many resources, particularly on the World-Wide Web (\u2018the Web\u2019) that students are expected to explore and use.&nbsp; One of the reasons the Web has grown so quickly is that anyone can publish (almost) anything on it.&nbsp; This raises a number of problems, however, particularly in relation to the issue of copyright.&nbsp; It is very easy to find information, images, audio and video files on the Web.&nbsp; Students can easily save these and incorporate them into their own material.&nbsp; This ease of copying means people often make the mistake of assuming that everything on the Web is freely available. This is not the case and students should be aware of what is acceptable and not acceptable in this approach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a general guide, we expect students to use the Web as a resource to find information, and to work together to discuss findings and develop an understanding of issues.&nbsp; What we do not expect is students to directly copy from the work of others \u2013 this is known as <em>plagiarism<\/em>; it is not acceptable, and will be penalized.&nbsp; Students will find that there are many pages providing what may seem at first to be ready-made solutions to their assignments.
