The General Directorate of Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance (GDPD&QA) at Dar Al Uloom University plays a crucial role in ensuring the institution's continuous improvement and adherence to high standards. This directorate is responsible for strategic planning, overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance processes, and fostering a culture of excellence across the university. By systematically evaluating academic and administrative units, the GDPD&QA ensures that DAU's programs and services meet both national and international accreditation standards. The directorate's efforts are integral to the university's mission of providing high-quality education and achieving its strategic goals. <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

<\/div>Roles and Responsibilities: <\/h5>\r\n

  • Developing and updating periodically the university\u2019s organizational structure to support its institutional excellence.<\/li>\n
  • Preparing the university\u2019s strategic plan, monitoring its implementation, measuring its performance, and developing it, in line with the university\u2019s vision and in response to local and global changes.<\/li> \n
  • Supervising the preparation of strategic plans for colleges, programs, deanships, and departments, as well as the annual operational plans for academic programs.<\/li> \n
  • Preparing and implementing the accreditation plans which aimed at obtaining local and international accreditations for the university and its programs and renewing them periodically.<\/li> \n
  • Providing consultations, supporting, and training to all university units concerning the achievement of quality requirements, local and international academic accreditation.<\/li> \n
  • Monitoring the implementation of the institutional accreditation requirements, national program accreditations, and developing improvement plans to enhance performance in accordance with ETEC-NCAAA standards.<\/li> \n
  • Preparation and implementation of a plan to develop and enhance the quality of higher education outcomes.<\/li> \n
  • Preparation of the annual report for the university.<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of studies and reports aimed at improving institutional effectiveness and supporting decision-making processes at the university.<\/li> \n
  • Analyzing the results of periodically distributed surveys, preparing reports on the results, and proposing improvement plans based on them.<\/li> \n
