Undergraduate Study and Examination Regulations and Executive Rules at DAU<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The purpose of these regulations is to regulate the mechanisms and procedures for study and examinations at the university, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of the educational process and academic procedures for the post-secondary stage. Regulations include definitions of the university’s academic study systems, admission procedures, transfer and equivalency, visiting students, student exchange, examinations, grading system, graduate and learning outcomes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Rules & Regulations for Graduate Studies in Universities and Executive Rules at DAU<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The purpose of these regulations is to regulate postgraduate studies at the university in a way that enhances the efficiency and quality of the educational process and academic procedures for postgraduate studies at DAU. Regulations include objectives of postgraduate studies, detailed criteria for approval of postgraduate programs, organizing the Standing Committee for Postgraduate Studies, study programs and study system, admission, academic procedures, assessment, theses, supervision and discussion, and graduation and degree granting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Student Code of Conduct and Discipline at DAU<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The purpose of these rules is to regulate student behavior so students can participate in the community effectively, correct students who violate it, and ensure that the educational process and its supporting activities at DAU and in the community are of high quality. These rules include regulations for the formation of the Student Conduct and Discipline Committee, violations and apprehension of offenders, penalties, and procedures to impose penalties and appeal against them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Dar Al Uloom University Guide<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The purpose of this guide is to introduce DAU, its colleges (College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy and Applied Medical Sciences, College of Law, College of Business Administration, and College of Architectural Engineering and Digital Design), University Preparatory Program, its academic programs (bachelor’s and graduate studies), and its supporting departments (General Administration of Planning, Development and Quality Assurance, Information Technology Center, Learning Resources Center, and Department of Physical Education).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The purpose of this handbook is to familiarize students with DAU and its basic rules, their rights and responsibilities, as well as academic advising and psychological counseling, career counseling, and other services provided by DAU to its students. The handbook includes an introduction to DAU’s colleges and academic programs, admission and registration procedures, student rights, roles, and responsibilities, campus life, and DAU’s facilities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The purpose of this guide is to activate the role of academic advising to ensure the success of the educational process by supporting students throughout their academic journey. This ensures the smooth flow of the study plan, the successful completion of study plan requirements within the planned timeframes, and the acquisition of required knowledge, skills, and values. The guide includes a definition of academic advising and its objectives, the criteria for a successful advisor, the academic advising mechanism, the establishment of a college-level academic advising committee, the duties of the academic advisor, and the student’s responsibilities relating to academic advising.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Faculty member & administrative staff handbook<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The purpose of this handbook is to provide a comprehensive overview of the administrative and academic needs of faculty at DAU. It includes employee duties and responsibilities, appointment and promotion procedures, training and professional development opportunities, vacations, salaries, compensation, and services, performance evaluation, and a code of conduct. This guide also includes an overview of all facilities and services provided by DAU to support faculty members’ educational, research, and community careers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
