These councils empower students to develop leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills through the organization of university activities and service projects, fostering a meaningful connection between students and the college\u2019s senior administration. Members serve as the student body\u2019s voice, regularly meeting with university leadership to share student perspectives, ideas, and suggestions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Council Goals<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establish a vital link between students, college, and university administration to present student opinions and recommendations for improving the educational process.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthen collaboration among students, administration, and faculty members.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop students\u2019 leadership, communication, and responsibility skills, supporting a globally competitive student community.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Encourage active student participation in local community initiatives and service projects.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discover and nurture student talents, guiding them toward productive, skill-building activities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilitate organization and management of both individual and group student activities, maximizing available university resources.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promote adherence to university regulations, encouraging academic integrity, respectful conduct, and strong academic performance.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foster a sense of loyalty to the nation, the university, and its colleges.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership Eligibility<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students within the college who meet the following criteria are eligible to run for student council membership:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The (student) must have completed at least (24) study hours.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The cumulative average must not be less than good (2.50 or above).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The (student) must not have been subjected to any disciplinary penalty.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Council Mechanism:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Submit discussion topics in writing to the Student Affairs Department, along with any relevant documents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Adhere strictly to the agenda; new topics may only be addressed if added formally to the meeting&#8217;s agenda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Sign the meeting minutes and submit any comments or objections in writing to the Student Affairs Department.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Topics raised by members absent from the meeting will not be discussed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. The Council will not address individual cases pertaining to a single student unless they represent a widespread issue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Relevant university officials may be invited to Council meetings for topics within their purview.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. The Student Affairs Department may communicate with various university colleges and departments about topics under discussion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Responses to inquiries will be documented in the official minutes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Council Meetings:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. The Council convenes twice per semester for regular meetings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. An exceptional meeting may be called if requested by at least half of the members, or by invitation from the Council President or Vice President.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. An additional meeting may also be scheduled if the Student Affairs Department receives at least five topics for discussion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.
