Admission Requirements:
– High School Diploma: Applicants must hold a General Secondary School Certificate (High School Diploma) from the last five years or an equivalent qualification from within or outside Saudi Arabia, verified and approved by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. The University Council may grant exceptions for diplomas older than five years. Alternatively, applicants may have a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in another field.
–Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically fit.
– Additional Requirements: Any other criteria specified by the University Council during the admission period.
Required Document:
– Original and stamped copy of the bachelor’s degree
– Certified, stamped copy of the official academic transcript, along with a stamped copy of course descriptions (for transfer students)
– Copy of Saudi National ID for Saudis, or passport/residence permit (Iqamah) for non-Saudis
– Two recent photographs of the applicant
– Copy of a medical fitness report form (available here: [medical checkup link])
Fee Structure:
-Admission Fee: A one-time, non-refundable fee of SAR 3,000.
– Tuition Fee: Tuition is SAR 2,450 per credit hour. New, self-funded students receive a one-semester partial scholarship, reducing the fee to SAR 1,960 per credit hour. This 20% scholarship can continue in subsequent semesters for the top 20% of undergraduate students in each college, based on cumulative GPA.
-Special Scholarship: The university offers a one-semester, 50% tuition scholarship to 10 high-achieving students each year who meet an entry score of at least 80% (based on a 30% high school GPA, 40% achievement test (Tahseeli Test), and 30% general aptitude test scores). To renew this scholarship after the first semester, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.
-Payment Deadline: Tuition fees must be paid before course registration.
– Credit Hour Requirement: Per Dar Al Uloom University’s Study and Examinations Bylaws, students must register for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester, with a maximum of 20 credit hours per semester. Registration of up to 24 credit hours may be permitted under certain conditions.
