| This course aims at enabling the student of being acquainted with the provisions of family relations in Islam by studying & discussing these provisions in the marriage contract and demonstrating its basic elements, conditions, and preventives, and knowing the marital rights of both parties, and how this contract is terminated by divorce from the side of husband and by termination from the side of legitimate ruler. Therefore, the student ability of researching these issues and demonstrating his opinion about them is achieved. |

Then the course discusses the secondary sources which are: commendation, public interest, conventions, laws of those came before us, fatwas of prophet’s companions, Abiding to other revealed injunctions, and finally prohibition of what may lead to sins. By knowing these topics, the student will gain the ability of applying these sources and the rules of this science in what he faces of legal & legislative problems and cases. |
