The College of Law at Dar Al-Uloom University is the first private law college in the Kingdom, established to provide high-quality education in legal sciences to meet the needs of the labor market in both the public and private sectors. The college consists of two main departments: the Department of Private Law and the Department of Public Law, which together confer a Bachelor’s degree in Law. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two programs: a Master of Private Law and a Master of Public Law.
The Department of Private Law provides various courses in civil law, commercial law, jurisprudence, the history of law, social legislation, litigation, and private international law. Meanwhile, the Department of Public Law offers numerous courses in administrative law, constitutional law, public international law, and criminal law.
The college is committed to developing its curriculum in line with labor market requirements, emphasizing practical aspects by dedicating a semester for practical training. This aims to equip students with the necessary skills for legal thinking and analysis in light of the legislative, judicial, and human rights developments occurring in the Kingdom, as well as the significant opening up of the legal profession in the country, which increases job opportunities for graduates of legal specialties and enhances their competitiveness in the labor market.
The college has obtained national accreditation for its Bachelor of Law program from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and it has also received international accreditation for its Bachelor of Law program from the French High Council for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Scientific Research and Higher Education. Additionally, the college has applied for national accreditation for its Master of Public Law and Master of Private Law programs and is awaiting the accreditation decision from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
