Transfer regulations from outside DAU:

Admission dates for transfers from outside the university are announced in the academic calendar on the DAU website.
A transfer student must complete at least 60% of the required credit hours for a bachelor’s degree at DAU.
A transfer student may have credits equalized prior to enrolling at DAU, in accordance with Article 24 of the “Undergraduate Study and Examination Regulations and Executive Rules at DAU”, as well as Article 19 of the “Rules & Regulations for Graduate Studies in Universities and Executive Rules at DAU”
Transfer conditions from outside the university
A student’s transfer from outside DAU may be accepted according to the following regulations:
- Transfer students must have studied at a local university or college, or at a foreign university, college, or educational institution licensed by the relevant authority in the country of study.
- Transfer students must not have been expelled from another university for disciplinary reasons.
- Transfer students must meet the conditions for transfer from outside the university, as approved by the University Council based on the recommendation of the College Council where the student wishes to transfer.
- Transfer students must meet the admission requirements for their new major at Dar Al Uloom University.
Transfer Requests from Outside the University: Application Procedures and Decisions
DAU accepts transfer applications from outside the university according to the dates specified in the university calendar. Students are required to:
- Student should apply for admission via the website. In the admission type section, the student selects (transferred from a university/college).
- The relevant college committee or the Admissions Department at the Deanship of Admission, Registration, and Student Affairs makes the admission decision, and the student is notified via text message.
- Once the transfer request has been approved, the student should complete the university’s final admission procedures (paying the admission fee and receiving the final acceptance notification).
- A course equivalency form is provided to student, which must be completed and submitted to the Registration Department at the Deanship of Admission, Registration, and Student Affairs.
- As soon as the relevant committees at the colleges and/or University Preparatory Program approve the course equivalency, the Registration Department at the Deanship of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs registers it on SIS to appear on the student’s transcript.
