Student Services and Facilities
Central library
DAU’s Library provides books and periodicals in Arabic, English, as well as other languages to teaching staff, researchers, and students (males and females) covering several main specializations: law, architecture, graphic design, medicine, dentistry, applied medical science, and business administration. Located on the second floor, DAU’s library covers an area of 1000 m and is accessible to both male and female candidates.

Saudi digital library
The Saudi Digital Library (SDL) is the largest source of electronic journals and books in Saudi Arabia. DAU’s teaching staff, researchers, and students can access to a variety of reputable online databases in various domains and disciplines. For SDL access steps, click here.
Interactive digital learning platforms
DAU recognizes the benefits of online learning platforms for students and educators. Since 2018, DAU has been progressively implementing reputable international digital learning platforms (Cengage and McGraw Hill) across its bachelor’s degree programs. The use of these platforms allows DAU students to learn at their own pace, engage with interactive tools, and retain more course material. Learning Management System
DAU has established a robust Learning Management System (LMS) that facilitates course management and enables students and educators to collaborate, access course materials, participate in discussions, submit assignments, and conduct online exams conveniently and efficiently. DAU Classrooms
Students and faculty in all colleges at DAU are already actively participating in the same high quality academic environment (auditorium, laboratories, clinics, studio classes, lectures, study spaces, etc.). The classrooms are equipped with visual aids and teaching facilities, providing supportive and comfortable learning environment for educators and students.
Auditorium
The main auditorium (Theatre) and mini auditorium buildings at DAU are sloped and are used for social, cultural, and educational events and hosting speakers from outside the university, as well as large ceremonies.
Laboratory
Laboratories provide a safe, controlled learning environment in which students are encouraged to conduct experiments, observe or practice an academic discipline.
Computer Lab
Computer labs are set up with rows of computers and play a pivotal role in fostering technological literacy among students and provide students with access to IT resources. They are also used for conducting online tests and exams.
Lecture
Classrooms that are equipped with projectors, Smart board for teaching, internet, comfortable chairs with armrests, and primarily used for instruction.
Workshop
These classrooms are equipped with round tables, ergonomic executive chairs, projector, internet, and smart board. They are typically used for half-day or full-day workshops, training, panel discussions, or other events that require both structured presentations and open dialogue.
Study Space and Room
Spaces and rooms for study are equipped with tables, chairs, electricity, internet signal, and good lighting, and are used by groups and individuals at their convenience.
Clinical Skills and Simulation Center
The center is equipped with multiple task trainer manikins which include AED training manikins, Harvey cardiopulmonary simulator, Kyoto, choking simulators, Catheterization simulators, Intubation and lumbar puncture task trainers, ear and eye task trainer, CPR trainers, IV, IM injection trainers and many more. We also have Noelle, which is a high-fidelity birth simulator manikin and serves multiple training procedures in gynae and obstetrics. Furthermore, the center is equipped with smart screens, control rooms for conducting OSCEs, digitalized video, plasma screens and bedside computer charting, where students can practice various medical skills and procedures. The College of Medicine is continuously upgrading the equipment and space in its Clinical Skill Laboratories.
Dental Clinics
Dental clinics provide students with hands-on clinical training in a technology-driven environment, where all students have the opportunity to treat patients under faculty and clinician supervision. Each clinic is equipped with the latest dental equipment, instruments, and technology.
Studio
Space with equipment and technology for experimentation, observation, and practice in architectural and digital design disciplines.
Moot Coort
The Moot Court simulates a real court environment to give law students an opportunity to put their learning into practice. It is a tool to teach students advocacy skills, an equip them with the attributes of an effective and successful professional lawyer.
Bookstore & Printing services
DAU’s bookstore offers a variety of products and services to students and staff, including printing, office supplies, textbooks, graphic design services, printing services, etc.
Prayer areas
DAU has places for students and staff to pray on campus. Dar Al Uloom Mosque is located on the university campus, where the five daily prayers and Friday prayers are held all days.
Furthermore, several small prayer areas are located on campus and available for all students, faculty and staff from Sunday to Thursday during working hours.
Nutrition services
Nutrition services are available on campus to students and staff with options of on-site and automation access.
Health service Unit
The Health Service Unit functions as a walk-in clinic. It is located on-campus and is dedicated to meeting students’ and staff’s emergency needs, emphasizing first aid.
Lockers
There are multiple lockers across campus that can be used to keep your property safe while you study.
Sports Center
DAU’s sports center offers a motivating environment for exercising, developing physical skills, and enhancing overall health. Located on campus, the sport center offers a variety of programs and activities for students and staff of all levels and interests.
Multipurpose Gym
Basketball, Volleyball, Mini football, Handball, Tennis, Squash
Team sports and racket sports are popular among students. DAU offers two well-equipped multipurpose gyms on the ground floor, one in the male side building and one in the female side building. The gym is open from early morning until evening, and it has hosted many tournaments and championships. Students are encouraged to join the sports club to participate in different sports training. On-site athletic trainers are available for collective and individual appointments during practices and games.
Fitness Facilities
Two fitness centers are available to DAU students, faculty, and staff on the 1st floor of both the male and female buildings. They are equipped with machines, free weights, treadmills, stationary computerized bikes, etc. A full-time fitness specialist is available to assist you with all your fitness goals.
Swimming pools
On the ground floor, DAU has both male and female invigorating swimming pools where everyone can plunge in. They are available and free for all DAU students, faculty, and staff. The swimming pool is heated to a constant 29ºc and staffed by qualified lifeguards. The quality of the water is checked daily.
Martial arts, Shooting, and Billiards
Students and staff at DAU enjoy a great variety of sports facilities that meet international standards. Along with Gyms, fitness centers, and swimming pools, DAU offers martial arts, shooting, and Billard training in a supportive environment.
Showers/locker room
Both DAU’s male and female sport centers have showers, toilets, changing rooms, and lockers.
