Code of Conduct Policy (DAU 4-3)
It is DAU’s policy to promote ethics, honesty, and professionalism amongst its teaching, administrative staff, and students in an atmosphere that is free of discrimination or harassment.
Non-Discrimination: DAU provides equal opportunities and guarantees equal treatment to all its members and applicants regardless of their gender, age, race, color, religion, national origin, social status, marital status, or disability.
Non-Harassment: Any unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, whether verbal, physical, written or pictorial, that creates a hostile environment for the individual subjected to such conduct will not be tolerated or condoned by DAU. Moreover, sexual misconduct including stalking, dating violence and sexual assault is prohibited.
Repercussions
Appropriate corrective action will be taken toward any student or staff who is found to have violated DAU’s code of conduct policy. Further, DAU commits itself toward the assurance of non-retaliation toward any person who reports discrimination/harassment, or who participates in an investigation of such conduct.
