Since its inception, the Deanship of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs has assumed important responsibilities both within and outside the university walls. As well as tracking students academically until they graduate from the university, it provides information about the university, its colleges and academic programs, announces admission requirements and academic systems and regulations, responds to any related questions and inquires, and follows up on students’ activities. The Deanship is also responsible for preparing the statistics required by various parties within and outside the university, which contribute to promoting the university’s role in the national renaissance process. The Deanship’s responsibilities extend outside of the university in addition to its administrative and technical duties within the university, because the successive developments of academic institutions and their systems require constructive and continuous coordination and cooperation between universities and other parties outside of them.
