The Clinical Skills and Simulation Center at DAU is a state-of-the-art laboratory that is equipped with high fidelity manikins, human patient simulators, digitalized videos, bedside computer charting and static manikins and task trainers. The lab has more than 20 class rooms accommodating more than 100 students at a time.
The Clinical Skill Laboratories exist primarily to serve the students, faculty and staff in the College of Medicine DarAl Uloom University. They provide a clinical learning environment, utilizing task trainers and human patient simulation technology, as specified by the curriculum and on recommendation by the faculty, and facilitate optimum and efficient utilization of those resources for effective learning and outcome. It serves as an essential link between medical student training and clinical experience and has proven to be an effective tool for assessing technical skills, critical thinking and team behavior.
The Simulation Center has more than 10 AHA certified life support instructors and are conducting various courses like the Basic Life Support, First Aid, Heart Saver , Advanced Cardiac Life support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Pediatric Life Support
