Transferred Students from other universities to Dar Al Uloom University
The university accepts students who wish to transfer from other universities or colleges, provided that they meet the following conditions:
Admission Requirements:
- The student must have studied at a recognized college or university.
- The admission requirements for his/her major must
- He/she must not have been dismissed from the university or college from which he/she transferred for disciplinary reasons.
- His /her cumulative GPA must not be less than 3 out of 5 or 2.4 out of 4.
- The transfer conditions must apply to him/her according to the study and examination regulations for the undergraduate stage and its executive rules at Dar Al Uloom University.
- The courses that he /she has previously studied and that are required to be equated must meet the conditions for equivalency of courses according to the study and examination regulations for the undergraduate stage and its executive rules at Dar Al Uloom University, including the following:
- The student must have obtained the grade determined by the College Council.
- The course description must match the course required to be equated by a percentage of not less than 70% and the number of hours of the course required to be equated must be equal to or greater than the number of hours of the course required to be equated.
- The total number of equivalent hours shall not exceed one-third of the number of hours required for graduation from the university, and the university president or his delegate may approve increasing the percentage to 40% based on the recommendation of the college council.
- Personal interview
Required Documents:
- Original and a stamped copy of bachelor’s degree
- Certified and stamped copy of official academic transcript along with a stamped copy of course description/s for transferring students
- Copy of Saudi National Card for Saudis, and a copy of Passport or Residence Permit (Iqamah) for Non-Saudis.
- Two recent photos of applicant.
- Copy of medical fitness report form which can be found here.
Students coming from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
First: Required documents:
To complete the online application, you need a scanned copy (maximum size 1 MB per file) of the following:
- High school graduation certificate or equivalent. In addition to the original equivalency of the certificate from the Ministry of Education.
- Achievement test result.
- Aptitude test result.
- TOEFL or IELTS score record (if available), “The university offers the *OOPT exam for those who did not obtain TOEFL or IELTS.
- SAT 1 and SAT 2 score record or any other level test(s).
- Official transcript from previous college/university.
- Any additional documents to support the application.
- Personal interview.

Third: Students coming from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Requirements for the University to issue your Student Visa
- Your application for admission must be submitted
- Your Certificates & Transcripts must be certified by the Saudi Embassy in the country of your study
- Your Certificates & Transcripts must be evaluated & certified by the Saudi Ministry of Education
- You must pay the application fee of SR 5000
* Please note that the University does not guarantee the issuance of your Student Visa but will help facilitate the process
Admissions Criteria for University Preparatory Program (UPP):
This program will enable you to improve English language proficiency and academic skills. Those who successfully finish UPP will join Dar Al Uloom University. To get accepted in UPP, you must meet the following criteria:

- The University offers an English placement test for those who have not taken the TOEFL or IELTS. Once you apply, your test date & time will be scheduled.
- The College Council has the right to make an exception for some applicants, provided that the GPA is not less than 65%, and the secondary school GPA is not less than 90%.
Admission criteria for graduates of international educational systems:

- The applicant’s file will then be evaluated based on his/her performance in high school and the personal interview at the college.
